First blog :)

So I decided to start my very own blog, since I loved blogging on Rocky's page. But I always seem to make it about my life ...  so now I have this one for me and my own life and Rocky's can be all about him! :] 
I don't really know what to say for my first blog. I would introduce myself, but I would hope that everyone looking at this blog already knows me, so ... If you DO know me well enough, you know that I have the most amazing husband and son. They are my absolute EVERYTHING! I love watching Rocky grow-it seems like it's happening so fast though! 
Rocky was born with a cleft lip/palate and has had 2 surgeries so far. He looks fantastic. I honestly would not believe he looked the way he did before the surgeries if I didn't see it with my own two eyes.  He has still got a dozen surgeries to go through, including his palate, nose, and lip repairs/adjustments.  When he was first born, Kyle made him a blog -- which I later took over :] It's rockykylefordham.blogspot.com. He made a "donate" button for the generous people in our lives to help with the costs of the numberless surgeries. It is shocking the bills we have received. Luckily, after much frustration and many phone calls, we were able to get him onto Medicaid. There is NO way we would be able to pay these outrageous bills. 
We are struggling with both insurances right now with his last surgery-they are refusing the bill. They say that the surgery wasn't necessary to be an "in-patient". Seriously people? He was a 5 month old having Major surgery on his FACE!! But in their eyes, that's no big deal and he should have been able to leave right after. .......Oh, the feelings I want to just burst out .... 
So anyway, that's what's been goin' on. Hopefully i'll be better with this blog than I have been with Rockys. :]
